■ Tokyo Auto Salon 2018 BH Auction PRESS-DAY 11th January 2018

Anyone from TAS could view the auction from the grandstands but we had to apply for special passes to enter the floor of the auction to get up close to the cars up for grabs. On the flipside of that, we got to walk around millions of dollars of incredible cars and watch the auction battle whilst sipping complimentary glasses of champagne and red wine - it was terrible !

Honda S800 1968
A coupe body with a Kamm-tail to improve aerodynamics.
400m acceleration time of 16.9 second and boasts a top speed of 160km/h.
Domestic specification, frame number matches the engine/ transmission number.

The fact that the frame number matches the engine/ transmission number proves that it is a genuine and original car.
A full restoration spanning several years was undertaken to restore the body, chassis, suspension, and brakes . In addition, a particularly meticulous overhaul was per formed on the engine, transmission, and differential unit so that they are now completely restored to their original condition. Moreover, Dunlop front disc brakes, which were optional when the car was new, have been installed along with peripheral components such as brake master cylinders and rear wheel cylinders. The aluminium wheels are what are commonly called “RSC replicas” which have a 13 inch diameter and 4.5J rims.
